Absolutely Fantastic Stay!
lovely notecomplimentary extrasgreat service
I was upgraded to a great room upon arrival, it had such a lovely note and delicious cake! The staff addressed a mix-up with our main courses immediately and offered complimentary extras, deserts, and coffees. Breakfast had lots of choice, great service, and gluten-free toast was toasted perfectly, even served with real honey!
The hotel location was perfect though the parking was expensive.

The location was convenient for nearby attractions. The architecture had a certain charm. I appreciated the friendly service at the front desk. The staff made an effort to assist with directions and information.
The room I stayed in felt small and somewhat outdated. I found the noise from the street noticeable, especially during the morning hours. It affected my sleep. The breakfast options were limited for the price. I expected a wider selection.

Jack S showed me how to use the lifts and gave me a tour of the facilities! He thoroughly explained everything and asked about my opinions, I seemed like a valued guest. The hotel is super elegant and historic with restaurants and a bar that were very good. David, the doorman, always helped and kept us out of trouble!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. They promptly helped me with a late checkout. Housekeeping kept the room cleaned daily to perfection, then freshened it up in the evening. The concierge was very helpful and always ready to provide information.

i stayed in a queen room. the location was ideal, not overly crowded YET convenient to the central area and various restaurants. the service makes this place stand out, it felt almost like home during my three nights there, a feeling i RARELY experience in hotels of this size.
the lack of a doorman at the entrance was something i noticed , even though hotel photos showed one. there was no one to assist with luggage upon arrival or departure. the absence of a dedicated entrance staff member was also evident.

The building had a amazing design. I could tell someone put a lot of thought into it. The decor and finishes were also great! Staff were helpful, I noticed they responded super quickly to requests.
The room felt small. It was more compact than I had expected. I would describe it as adequate. Our complimentary mini bar was very basic. It consisted of just two bottles of water and two tiny bottles of milk, a bit disappointing.

the location was perfect. it was close to the train and tube station. i did notice neighborhood restaurants and stores nearby
the rooms were somewhat hot. the air conditioning was capped so it wouldn't go below 22 degrees. the shower was fixed at an odd height so neither me nor my husband could shower comfortably.
